What kind of sausage would you substitute for Thai or Chinese style sausage in a recipe?

Trying to make Thai-style "gumbo" but I can't find Thai or Chinese sausage at any grocery store near meWhat kind of sausage would you substitute for Thai or Chinese style sausage in a recipe?
Hi, Thai-style gumbo doesn't necessarily need to be made with 'chinese sausages', you can substitute that with a number of alternatives such as a simple pork sausage. Better yet you can try going with a 'lapchong' sausage which has a great taste and goes with most Thai dishes.
