Can anyone tell me how to make this thai dressing?

It comes on the house salad that is served at a few of my local thai restaurants. It is a light yellow colored salad dressing. It is sweet and we think it might be mayo based. The salad is very simple just lettuce, slices of carrot, cucumber, and tomatoes. Does anyone have a recipe or know what i am talking about? Can anyone tell me how to make this thai dressing?
