I am single and have trouble making things for myself. Does anyone have any tips or recipes?

I like thai, vietnamese or korean foods especially and ethinic foods are my favorite.I am single and have trouble making things for myself. Does anyone have any tips or recipes?
Get yourself a cookbook from the bookstore. It looks like an Asian style cookbook would suit your taste.

This might help you get started.

I'm sure that there are recipes that may be quite easy to begin your new project. Ask the clerk to point you in the right direction.

I eat alot of thai foods and mostly cook for just me, my staple ingredients are:

Rice Noodles (in portion packs i.e 4 portions)

Dried Chilli Flakes

Pak Choi (type of cabbage)

Broccoli

Spring Onions

Fish Sauce

Soy Sauce

A Pack of Frozen Jumbo Prawns

Its really easy to throw everything in a mini fry pan / wok, cook the noodles via the instructions on back of pack and throw it all together.

Main advice is just look up 'thai noodle recipes' on the internet.

GoodLuck xx
Most of those cuisines are easy to make for one. Cut up all your veggies one day and use them over the course of the week. You can wok with different sauces and meats. You can also make a large batch of rice and reheat it during the week.

I usually make enough for 2 and then safe the rest for lunch the next day, or dinner the next night. I do not mind eating the same thing 2 nights in a row, especially since it saves money.I am single and have trouble making things for myself. Does anyone have any tips or recipes?
nope i don't
Get all sauces, spices and cut vegetables ready made.Buy rice and noodles also. Before 10mts of your eating time just boil all veg, spices, sauces together with either rice or noodles.Everyday cooking will be easy and also healthy.
I would start by making a list of ingredients that you like .

In your case if it's chines or Thai food maybe ginger, pok choi or even try different noodle dishes (or different style of noodle) start with something easy.

Than maybe if you prefer meat there is some nice beef or pork recipes like the twice cooked meet is pretty popular (they use a lot of fruit, orange, lemon or sometime apple).

There is a great amount of soup that are really nice and simple all you have to do is prep. yourself a nice stock.

Check out the fish,it's a little harder to enjoy cooking but if you start by sea food mix you could find yourself trying and wanting new things, maybe even creating you own dish :)

enjoy!
Well it's simple:-

1) Buy a easy to make cook book on what you want to make.(Ask the sales people to help you in the store)

2) Get a friend who can ethier cook or knows who can cook %26amp; have them show %26amp; teach you at your place!! Write the Recipes down in your way so that you would be able to remember them.

3) Try hiring a cook to teach you one on one on how to make %26amp; cook up your own favorite foods!!

Hope that helps!! My dad's a great cook so he teaches me,watch %26amp; observe how people cook when you are somewhere,it helps when you memorize them %26amp; practice makes perfect. Even get a recipie and try your own sweet hand!!
