Anyone have any easy Thai receipes?

i went to thaitable.com and tried two recipes but they came out bland. I want to make chicken basil, beef with broccoli thai style..or anything for that matter that is healthy and takes 15 minutesAnyone have any easy Thai receipes?
This is simple and quick, and insanely good. Spicy though.

Spicy Chicken with Chili %26amp; Basil Over Rice:

2/3 lb. boneless chicken cut in strips

1 tsp minced garlic

6 small shredded serrano peppers(or less to your liking)

2 Tbsp. fish sauce

2 tsp. sweet soy sauce

1tsp brown sugar

20 basil leaves

1/3 cup chicken stock or water

2 cups cooked jasmine rice

Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a wok, then stir frygarlic and shredded chilis until fragrant (1 or 2 minutes) Add meat and stir fry til color changes. Add fish sauce, sweet soy sauce and sugar, mix in well. Add basil and stock and bring to boil. Pour over rice.

Also, try doing a search for wei-chuan cookbooks on Amazon. They are authentic Asian cookbooks, and the recipes are so easy. The one called Thai Cooking Made Easy is fantastic. They are written in Chinese, but have the English translation just below it. I own several in the series, and they are all phenomenal.

Thia's are OK but they tend to be a bit tuff..try some meat tenderizer or parboil them first....

Would you be willing to make soup? This takes like an hour to cook, but only 20 minutes or so to prepare. You can walk away and do something else while this cooks.

P.S. - it's from a Jaime Oliver cooking show on the Food Network. I made it, and it was simple and delicious.

Thai Chicken Soup (c) Jamie Oliver 2003

Recipe Summary

Difficulty: Medium

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Inactive Prep Time: 3 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

1 (4 pound/2 kilogram) free range or organic chicken

7 ounces (200 grams) tamarind*, broken up

1 piece ginger, sliced

2 red chiles, seeds removed, 1 chopped and 1 finely sliced

1 red onion, skin on, sliced

2 sticks lemongrass, bashed, bruised and roughly chopped

1 bulb garlic, cut in 1/2

1 large bunch fresh coriander

1 (400 ml) can coconut milk

8 ounces (225 grams) rice noodles

Thai Fish Sauce*

Soy sauce

Drizzle olive oil

* Found in Asian markets

Place the chicken in a large heavy-based saucepan, and add the tamarind, ginger, chopped chiles, onion, lemongrass and garlic. Finely slice the coriander stalks and add to the pan, keeping the leaves until later.

Cover with water to the top and weight the chicken down with a heavy lid or a smaller pan that fits inside the cooking pan. Bring to the boil and slowly simmer for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once cooked, remove the chicken and pull off the meat using a fork.

Mash up the sauce and add the coconut milk and a lug of fish sauce. Put the rice noodles in a bowl, pour over boiling water and leave to stand for 3 minutes. Mix the coriander leaves with the finely sliced chile.

Drain the noodles, place some in the bottom of each serving bowl, and dress with soy sauce to season. Pile the chicken on top, then pour over the strained sauce. Pile the chile and coriander mix on top and drizzle with olive oil.
All you have to do is go to the asian grocery and walk towards the noodle aisle, there are hundreds of imported Thal noodles to choose from. Then get some shrimp, tofu, peanuts and some bean sprouts then go home and boil noodles, stirfry some shrimp, tofu, and egg, then throw all that in a bowl of noodles and crack a lime over it. Alot of those noodles will have suggestions on how to prepare them with extra ingredients, right on the bag!
