I love Thai food. Does anyone have a really quick easy Thai recipe?

Thai seafood curry.....this is sooooo quick to make its ridiculous.....lol....its more like a soup than a thick curry but its tasty

to feed 4 people:

1 can of coconut milk

2 tablespoon of thai yellow or green curry paste

1 teaspoon of tumeric (optional)

1 clove garlic

zest %26amp; juice of 1 lime

1 lemon grass stalk

1 can chick peas

1lb yellow squash or sweet potato -cut in to bite size pieces

500g of salmon, prawns or any firm fish

put coconut milk in a deep pot, bruise or break the lemongrass stick and add to the milk, bring to the boil and simmer 5 mins, then whisk in the curry paste, tumeric, crushed garlic, lime zest and juice, add the chopped squash or sweet potato, add chickpeas, if you think that there is not enough liquid you can add a little chicken stock then bring to the boil again, simmer gently until the squash/potato is softly cooked approx 15 mins.

Add the diced fish/prawns and simmer gently till fish is cooked. approx. 5-8 mins

If you like Thai Curry, go to the Asian section of your grocery store and look for curry paste. Choose the curry paste (red, green, yellow) of your choice. On the back will be a recipe for curry. Typical ingredients are as follows: Jar of Curry Paste, Can of Coconut Milk, Red Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper, Asian Hot Pepper (or a jar of red pepper paste), Garlic, Vegetable Oil, Palm Sugar (or white sugar), rice (I use Jasmine) and Fish Oil.
Thai curry is really easy to make. There's only a couple of core ingredients.

thai curry paste

coconut milk

some kind of meat/veg combo

some fresh corriander (optional)

fish sauce (optional)

Fry the paste and meat/veg in the curry paste for a bit. Add the coconut milk and simmer for a bit.

That's it. It's really that easy.

Good thai curry paste can be found in most asian food shops.I love Thai food. Does anyone have a really quick easy Thai recipe?
If you have peanut butter on hand, you can make a thai peanut sauce pretty easily. You can combine the PB with seasame oil (if you have it) soy sauce, hot sauce, a little white vinegar, ginger and some garlic or shallots.

Use the sauce on anything... chicken, pork, even boiled thin spaghetti.

Also, if you can find the thin rice wanton wrappers, homemade spring rolls are SUPER easy.
Simple shrimp stir fry:

Ingredients

12 oz flat rice noodles 4 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp chopped cilantro 1 small hot red chille, seeded and finely chopped

9 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined 4 shallots, peeled and finely chopped

4 large eggs, beaten 1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp fish sauce

2 tbsp fresh lime juice 9 oz bean sprouts

4 scallions, both white and green parts, sliced 1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts

1 lime, cut into 4 wedges

1 Soak the noodles in a bowl of hot water to cover for about 15 minutes, or until soft. Drain.

2 Meanwhile, heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add 2 tbsp of the oil, then the cilantro and chille. Immediately add the shrimp and stir-fry until the shrimp are opaque around the edges, about 1 minute. Transfer to a plate.

3 Add remaining oil to the wok or pan. Add the shallots and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the eggs and sugar and cook, stirring, for 1 minute, until the eggs are scrambled.

4 Stir in the oyster sauce, fish sauce, and lime juice. Add the noodles, shrimp, and bean sprouts and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the scallions and 1/2 cup of the peanuts and stir-fry for 1 minute. To serve, sprinkle with the remaining peanuts and garnish with lime wedgesI love Thai food. Does anyone have a really quick easy Thai recipe?
Wash 300 grames of basmati rice in the bath using your shower head (warm, hot or tepid water, depending on your preference) for twenty minutes, during this time don't forget to wash with shampoo twice, rinse and condition (leave for 2 mins before rinsing when using conditioner). Meanwhile get lime, gin, tonic, tall glass, ice, local menu (or iphone ethnic dish app) and either follow the online instructions (don't forget you could order ingredients from Tesco online) or simply order and wait for your completed recipe(s) to be delivered. Do you have a deep fryer?
