What noodles used in Pad Thai?

What noodles are typcally used in chicken pad thai. I have been looking all over for an authenic pad thai recipe but all use different noodles. i thought it was rice noodles but some say glass....i dont know!! help

This would be easier because you don't have to cook, you just need to soak in warm water for a bit then you can drain, let it dry a bit and stir fry and it will soften as you like it to be.

Actually, I just bought some at an Asian grocer. They are made from rice, not wheat like Italian pasta. They are flat and wide. I could not read the name, since it was all in Thai, but on the package in smaller writing it said "for pad thai". It was in the store's noodle section. IWhat noodles used in Pad Thai?
rice noodles. Most Asian noodles are made with rice, however the difference is the size of them. There are a lot of difference sizes from a quarter inch to a thin ones like thread. For the pad thai, use one that's not too wide. I don't know the measurement, but stick on the thin one.
